Modern Slavery Statement

Our commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking.

Version 2 · Effective 22 June 2026

This statement is made by MKCIT LIMITED, which operates Eventris and our other trading styles, and sets out the steps we take to prevent slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains.

The mandatory duty to publish a slavery and human trafficking statement under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 applies to commercial organisations with a total annual turnover of £36 million or more. MKCIT LIMITED is below that threshold, and so makes this statement voluntarily, as a matter of good practice rather than as a statutory obligation.

This statement covers MKCIT LIMITED's financial year ending 31 January 2027.

1. Our commitment

MKCIT LIMITED is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all its business dealings. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking, and we are committed to taking proportionate steps to ensure they do not take place anywhere in our own operations or our supply chains.

2. Our business

MKCIT LIMITED is a software company. We develop and operate Eventris, a business-to-business platform for event operations, incident-response coordination, and workforce/resource management, supplied to professional organisations. We are a small organisation; our workforce is engaged directly and we do not rely on agency, seasonal, or low-skilled migrant labour of the kind typically associated with elevated modern-slavery risk.

3. Our supply chains

As a software business, our supply chain is limited and predominantly low-risk. It consists principally of:

  • cloud infrastructure and hosting (UK-based);
  • third-party software, libraries, and online services;
  • professional services (e.g. legal, accountancy, and similar).

These suppliers are predominantly located in the United Kingdom and other established jurisdictions with strong labour protections. We assess the overall risk of modern slavery across this supply chain as low, given its nature and geography, while remaining alert to it.

4. Our policies and steps

  • We expect our contractors, suppliers, and business partners to comply with applicable modern-slavery legislation and to uphold equivalent standards.
  • We pay our staff and contractors fairly and lawfully, and we operate the Service under UK employment and contracting norms.
  • We keep our supplier base small and known to us, which allows us to understand who we work with rather than relying on opaque, multi-tier supply chains.
  • We will respond to and investigate any credible concern about modern slavery connected to our business or supply chain.

5. Raising a concern

If you have any concern that modern slavery or human trafficking may be taking place in any part of our business or supply chain, please contact us at hello@eventris.uk. Concerns will be treated seriously and in confidence so far as practicable.

6. Approval

This statement has been approved by the board of directors of MKCIT LIMITED.
